Kvarner region
Due to its protected and attractive geographical position, the Kvarner Bay has from ancient times been an interesting target of numerous conquerors. There are today in the Kvarner region 276 protected monuments of culture, of which 177 historic units and 161 historic buildings. The interested ones read the history of this region from those monuments and works of art just like from a book.
Rijeka
One of the largest Central European ports and until recently a powerful industrial centre, Rijeka provides many opportunities. Whatever you choose, you will be convinced: This city has an attractive tourist face. Famous for its many cultural and entertainment events such as the Rijeka Summer Nights, where musical-theatrical events are held throughout the city. The most recognisable image of Rijeka is surely Trsat, a medieval fortified town built by the Croatian Frankopan princes and the famous Marian shrine.
Crikvenica
In addition to beautiful natural surroundings, crystal clear seas and fresh air, and traditionally hospitable people, one of the main reasons for choosing Crikvenica for your holidays is the area's balmy, stable and healthy Mediterranean climate and microclimate. The winters here are mild, the summers are warm yet not too hot – the ideal conditions for the development of health tourism here more than one century ago. Participants: Folklore groups, Orchestras, Majorettes, Modern dance groups, Choirs, Music bands from all over the world, Choirs who are able to perform on open-air stages. The number of the participants are not limited.No age limits. Number of seats are limited!
